other用于复数，单独用（others），或后面接复数名词

频率副词从高到低

‌always（总是）

usually（通常）

often（经常）

sometimes（有时）

后面接动词的形式由主语决定，与频率副词无关

like/love后面接动词的名词形式（+ing）

如 My family like going outside in weekend.

make sb do（接动词原形）让某人做某事

如 His parents make him do homework after supper.

The teacher lets Mike play basketball at school.

spend time后面可以接

(in) doing sth，表示“花时间做某事”，in可以省略，如 I spend hours (in) reading books every day.（我每天花几个小时读书）

on+名词‌/名词短语，表示“花时间做某事”如 She spends too much time on homework.（她在作业上花了太多时间）

with+人‌，表示“花时间和某人在一起”如 They spend weekends with their grandparents.（他们周末和祖父母一起度过）

be late 迟到了，如 We'll be late.（我们要迟到了）

be late for‌ 事件名词（school/meeting/‌dinner/airport等）表示错过事件的时间节点，如 Peter is late for class.

be late to 动词原形/地点名词（school/meeting/‌dinner/airport等）表示物理位置到达晚，如 Peter is late to the airport/station.  Peter is late to arrive at the party（到达聚会现场晚）

let sb do sth 让某人做某事

用动词原形

be famous for 因为……而著名

如 Chongqing is famous for its amazing night view.

interest n. 兴趣

interesting adj. 有趣的，如 Mary is an interesting.

interested adj. 感兴趣的 常用be interested in sth形式，如Mary is interested in English.

be good at 擅长/善于做某事，后面接名词或动词ing形式

如 I'm not good at talking. 我不善言谈

between...and 在……和……之间

如 What are the differences between your new school and the old one? 

What's the same between peter's school and your school.

right 正确的，适当的，右边的

如 Mary puts her things in the right place to make her bedromm tidy.

thank为动词，需搭配宾语，如‌ Thank you for your help.

thanks为名词，且仅以复数形式出现，可独立使用或与介词搭配。如 Thanks! 又比如 I want to say thanks to my teachers.

across 从开放空间的表面穿过，如道路road 河流river 桥梁bridge 田野field等

through 从封闭空间中穿过，如 森林forest 人群crowd 窗户window 隧道tunnel等

across from 在……对面/在……另一边

1. 修饰名词类型：few和a few后接可数名词复数，little和a little后接不可数名词

2. 含义差异：a few和a little表肯定（意为：有一些，有一点），few和little表否定（意为：几乎没有）

She has few friends. 她几乎没有朋友

There is a little milk. 有一点牛奶
